Welcome to Windeire Kennels

side house
We are located in Southwestern Ontario.
Have had Irish Terriers since 1975 and bred and shown them since 1991.
We have one or two litters per year.

Some of Our Current Dogs

FERNFern (CH Windeire Daybreak, 2006) Is the granddaughter of Peggy. She loves the show ring and was the top female terrier in Canada in 2009. She is a keen hunter and is the mother of Canny, Taghner and Barragh.

and200wBrillagh (CH Windeire Aurora Borealis, 2010) has her Canadian and American championships and was Best of Opposite Sex at the June 2012 ITCC Specialty. In 2013, she was Best of Breed at the June Specialty and Best of Opposite at the Westminster and Montgomery shows. At the end of the year, she was the top ranking American Kennel Club Irish Terrier Grand Champion Bitch. We are planning a litter in 2016.

and200wCanny (CH Windeire Sorocco Windbreak, 2011) is following in his mother's (Fern) footsteps. He was reserve Winner's dog at the June 2012 ITCC Specialty and at 2013 weekend he was Winners Dog all three days and Best of Opposite Sex to Brillagh at the Specialty. He has sired five litters and is the grandfather of Mishagh.

and200wTaghner (CH Windeire Firebreak, 2011) is Canny's younger sister. She was Winner's Bitch at the 2013 Montgomery show, obtained her American and Canadian championships (2014) and was Best in Show at Temiskaming handled by Peter Scott (2015).

We also have two "youngsters" who are entering the show circuit in 2015; Barragh (7/5/14) and Mishagh (2/21/15).
